Enterprise on DVD

Season One

Set in the 22nd century, a hundred years before James T. Kirk helmed the famous starship of the same name, Enterprise takes place in an era when interstellar travel is still in it's infancy. Captain Jonathan Archer has assembled a crew of brave explorers to chart the galaxy on a revolutionary spacecraft: Enterprise NX-01. As the first human beings to venture into deep space, these pioneers will experience the wonder and mystery of the final frontier as they seek out new life and new civilizations.

Season Two

In one short year, Jonathan Archer, captain of the starship Enterprise NX-01, has made a name for himself and his crew, both with his Starfleet superiors and perhaps less favorably with mankind's alien neighbors.

Season Three

After a surprise attack on Earth leaves over seven million people dead, Captain Jonathan Archer and the crew of the Enterprise swear to find those responsible a race called the Xindi. Taking off into the uncharted region known as the Delphic Expanse, the crew of the Enterprise must hunt down the Xindi and stop them from enacting their ultimate plan: the total destruction of humanity. Along the way they travel to the year 2004 to prevent a bio-weapon attack, fend off the mysterious Sphere-Builders, and even meet their own descendants due to a wormhole mishap, all leading up to a desperate race back to Earth to prevent its destruction.

Season Four

Following the season-long Xindi arc during the third season, season four comprised several shorter story arcs. These included a wrap-up to the Temporal Cold War story line which began with the pilot episode, Broken Bow. Other arcs covered the differences between the Klingons seen in Enterprise as compared to those seen in series set later in the Star Trek timeline. Season four wrapped up final story lines.

Star Trek Enterprise Summary

Star Trek: Enterprise focuses on the 22nd century adventures of Captain Jonathan Archer aboard the Enterprise NX-01 during the early days of interstellar travel. The NX designation indicates that this Enterprise is an experimental prototype; Archer’s ship is Earth’s first vessel designed for long-range exploration of the galaxy. Prior to the development of warp engines that could reach a velocity of warp 5, missions of this nature were impossible. At warp two, only a handful of inhabited planets were within a year’s travel from Earth. But at warp five, that number increases to ten thousand planets! It is Archer’s job to visit as many of those worlds as he can. At 190 meters long, the NX-01 is a bit smaller than Kirk’s Enterprise, and carries a crew complement of just eighty-three men and women, all human, with the exception of the Vulcan science officer and the Denobulan doctor. Unlike the starships of the other Star Trek series, this Enterprise doesn’t have deflector shields or phasers, but it does come equipped with a phase cannon and a rudimentary transporter that functions efficiently most of the time. -From startrek.com
