Every Hero Has a Story!

Summer Supporters - 2015

Presenting the Summer Reading Club and its associated programs is one of the San Antonio Public Library's biggest projects.  And like all big projects, many people and many organizations work together to make it a success.  The Library would like to officially thank these supporters of Summer Reading 2015:

And of course -- a big thank you to THE CHILDREN OF SAN ANTONIO!  Because without our young readers there wouldn't be a Summer Reading Club.

Mayor's Summer Reading Club - 2015

Summer Reading is all about Summer Fun!  Summer is the perfect time to read the books you like!  Books about the people, places and ideas -- both real and imagined -- that interest you.

Be the hero of your own summer reading saga.  Join the Mayor's Summer Reading Club.

Beginning June 1, register for the Reading Club and keep track of the books you read or hear.  If you're reading on your own, logging eight books will earn you a Reading Club certificate (signed by the Mayor!) and a free paperback book to keep.  If you're a listener, you'll need to log sixteen books to claim the same reward.

There are also lots of great programs and activities happening at libraries across the city.  Visit the library's events calendar to find out when the fun gets underway at a branch near you.
