Dig Into Reading!

Summer Supporters - 2013

Presenting the Summer Reading Club and its associated programs is one of the San Antonio Public Library's biggest projects.  And like all big projects, many people and many organizations work together to make it a success.  The Library would like to officially thank these supporters of Summer Reading 2013:

And of course -- a big thank you to THE CHILDREN OF SAN ANTONIO!  Because without our young readers there couldn't be a Summer Reading Club.

Mayor's Summer Reading Club - 2013

Summer is the perfect time to dig into reading -- because you can read any book you want, any subject you want, any time you want!

Beginning June 1, you can join the Mayor's Summer Reading Club and keep track of the books you read this summer.  If you're reading on your own, logging eight books will earn you a Reading Club certificate (signed by the Mayor!) and a free paperback book to keep.  If you're a listener, you'll need to log fifteen books to claim the same reward.

There are also lots of great programs and activities happening at libraries across the city.  Visit the library's events calendar to find out when the fun gets underway at a branch near you.
