SCORE is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people start a business.

SCORE counselors are business professionals that are ready to advise you on your path to success.

    SAHA Application

    SAHA Applications to be on the Section 8 Waiting List are available from May 15 - June 1st.  Applicants do not need to rush to apply on May 15, since all applications received through midnight on June 1, 2012 will be entered into a computerized lottery system to establish each applicant's place on the waiting list.

    For the application to be submitted/completed: for all household members entered, you must have a name, a social security number, date of birth, and information on your children's schools (if your children are 6-18 years old).   You will also need income information for the household and a mailing address.  Every section of the application is required except an email address (optional).  Please have all that information ready before applying.

    Please review all information before submitting on the SAHA Application, as the application does NOT allow you to go back and correct your information. 

    Write down your confirmation number once completed.

    Jobs and Small Business Center Information

    The Jobs and Small Business Center on the 5th floor of the Central Library is dedicated to helping our patrons as they search for a job or perform business research. The Center maintains the same hours as the Central Library. Our online resources are available 24/7 with your San Antonio Public Library card.

    • Free one-on-one small business counseling provided by SCORE

      USAJOBS is the Federal Government's official one-stop source for Federal jobs and employment information. A great resource for military jobs, this site also has special sections for students, veterans, and disabled job seekers.
    • Work in Texas  
      Rating
      The primary governmental job training and job search program for the State of Texas. Find labor market and career information for any profession. Apply for unemployment benefits. Branch offices in San Antonio can assist you with your job search.
