Summer Supporters - 2014
Presenting the Summer Reading Club and its associated programs is one of the San Antonio Public Library's biggest projects. And like all big projects, many people and many organizations work together to make it a success. The Library would like to officially thank these supporters of Summer Reading 2014:
- San Antonio Public Library Foundation
- Friends of the San Antonio Public Library
- Mayor Julian Castro
- City of San Antonio
- Bexar County
- Bates Container
- Edith Speert's Book Discussion Group
And of course -- a big thank you to THE CHILDREN OF SAN ANTONIO! Because without our young readers there couldn't be a Summer Reading Club.

Keep track of the books you read – or listen to – and receive a Reading Club certificate signed by Mayor Castro and a free paperback book to keep.
Readers need to complete 8 books over the summer. Listeners complete 15.
Along with the Reading Club – the Library offers free activities for kids of all ages throughout June and July. Lots of programs are listed in this guide – but you’ll find even more when you visit the library’s electronic calendar.
