OPERA San Antonio
Join us for this special series of virtual performances featuring OPERA San Antonio Apprentice Artists Alexandra Sanchez, Bronwyn White, Joseph Rodriguez, and Rob Saldaña. Each program offers a great introduction to opera in an interactive format designed especially for children and families.

Join us immediately after the video for a live Zoom question and answer session with professional singers from Opera San Antonio.

Chef Kelly of the San Antonio Food Bank has prepared a series of classes about basic kitchen tools, skills, and easy recipes for kids! Join us on Thursdays at 11:00AM via Zoom. Each lesson includes kitchen terminology, a math concept, simple recipe, and a nutrition tip.

This summer there are two opportunities to enjoy shadow puppetry: Shadow Camp and the Shadow Camp Artist Talk Back. Recommended for school age children.
Shadow Camp, June 1-August 1: Poems, puppets, and shadows return to town with Matt Sandbank's virtual Shadow Camp. This self-paced, three-part webinar series includes The Science of Shadows, Elements of Poetry, and Making Shadow Puppets. There are several short videos within each topic. Shadow Camp is available all summer!
San Antonio's favorite paleontologist is eager to share his knowledge about fossils! Dinosaur George's presentations feature a scientific yet light-hearted take on the prehistoric world and include a variety of dinosaur bones, skulls, footprints and fun.
Recommended for school age children. Registration is required.
