Meet: Neil Gaiman

Neil Gaiman is an author of comics, graphic novels, screenplays, nonfiction, children's books and other fantastic novels. He takes from and refers to elements in classic literature, mythology and fairy tales. Although his works can be dark and creepy, there are elements of optimism and humor that balance the darkness.

Sandman, a graphic novel series, is probably his most well known creation. He has worked with fellow English author Terry Pratchett and artists Dave McKean, John Bolton, Michael Zulli and Charles Vess.
