The San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) Board of Trustees honored recipients of the 2020 and 2023 Excellence in Library Leadership and Advocacy (ELLA) Awards with a ceremony and reception on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Since 1996, the Library Board of Trustees has acknowledged the contributions of individuals and organizations who have demonstrated exceptional advocacy and dedication to advancing the mission of the San Antonio Public Library. This year’s honorees include longtime SAPL champions from volunteers to civic leaders and fundraisers. The group also includes more than a dozen teenagers who have devoted their time, energy, and creativity to the library, identifying new ways for teens in San Antonio to engage online and in person at their libraries. |
