Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) Dawson McElwee, also referred to as Mr. Mac, was in the charge of the 4th Army Band from 1948-1955. Mr. Mac and his wife Mary attended the 1st FAB Reunion in Kansas City, MO, in 1988 and continued through 2003. He conducted the Concert Band at each reunion. Below is his baton used at all reunions.
