Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) Dawson McElwee, also referred to as Mr. Mac, was in the charge of the 4th Army Band from 1948-1955. Mr. Mac and his wife Mary attended the 1st FAB Reunion in Kansas City, MO, in 1988 and continued through 2003. He conducted the Concert Band at each reunion.
