Fourth Army Reunion Band

Howard Bell and his wife, Zella, spent over 20 years preserving memories from his time with the Fourth Army Band (FAB) and the Fourth Army Reunion Band. Their efforts resulted in a remarkable collection that includes two volumes of memory books and a selection of musical scores. This collection serves not only as a historical record of the FAB but also as a heartfelt tribute to the bonds of brotherhood formed through military service and the power of music to build community.

The selection of photos below functions as a visual diary, capturing both the historical significance of the Fourth Army Band during its peak and the ongoing dedication of its members to reunite through the Reunion Band. These gatherings were free performances that welcomed and gave back to the communities that supported them.
