Unfortunately due to the ongoing renovations at Memorial, we will not be offering computer services or Brisk Browsing.

Notification of Phase III Services

  • All in person events have been canceled due to the recent pandemic, we will be posting links to events that you may attend virtually along with resources to begin checking out physical materials.

  • We are currently in Phase 3 of our transitioning plan to reopen our branch while keeping everyone safe and maintaining social distancing measures as directed by our City Council and the CDC. We are still keeping Curbside Pickup Service open, we are offering Free Take & Make Craft Kits, and we are currently offering computer appointments while we are open.

  • Call us for appointments @ (210) 207-9140, your appointments must be scheduled a day in advance.

    • A few notes and things to expect when you enter the building:

    • As soon as you enter the building someone with a contact-free thermometer will be taking your temperature.
    • All persons must wear a mask.
    • You should bring 1 person with you if you need assistance, and arrive 5 minutes ahead of time, we are still enforcing social distancing policies.
    • All appointments will be limited to 1 hr. We are enforcing this so we can disinfect and sanitize regularly.
    • We have unlimited, free printing for all users.

Snack Pak 4 SA

Memorial Branch is offering free Snack Paks for children ages 4 - 18 years, we are giving out 1 snack pak/ child and 1 free book for children under the age of 6.
Call us @ (210) 218-3080 and use our free curbside service to pick up your snack pak.

The length of the Snack Pak 4 SA with SAPL program will remain effective through December 15 - January 30.

Memorial Branch Services
during renovations

We are well into the season of renovations, and we have a few updates on services that have changed. We will not be offering computer services anymore, and unfortunately we will not be able to deliver on same day pickups, as both our computers and collection at this location have been placed into storage.

We are still offering curbside pickups, and you may continue using the catalog, or call us at (210) 218-3080 to place your items on hold and pickup your items at this location.

Memorial Library - Renovations

Memorial Branch Library has started renovations on March 2, 2021. During the renovations, we will continue to provide curbside service for the community, outreach, take & makes, and updates on interim services here at Memorial through our Facebook Group and this libguide.
