ESCAPE THE EARTH PODCAST is a monthly Sci-Fi/Fantasy podcast brought to you by the San Antonio Public Library Foundation. Each month our co-hosts discuss a title from a wide range of voices in the Science Fiction and Fantasy genres. We highly encourage listeners to read the books we discuss.
U.S.S. BEXAR is non-profit STAR TREK fan club and a proud chapter of STARFLEET: The International STAR TREK Fan Association, Inc. Region 3. We strive in promoting the ideals of Star Trek as envisioned by Gene Roddenberry. They are community service type organization participating in various charities and events throughout the Greater San Antonio Metropolitan Area. Our club activities are usually on weekends, ranging from volunteering, fan conventions (Local, State, Regional, etc.) to various fund-raising activities, parties, movies, and game nights.

STAR WARS SOCIETY OF SAN ANTONIO For the past 24 years the Star Wars Society a San Antonio as a club for fans by fans. They can be seen at various conventions around town and have contributed to many charities such as the San Antonio Food, Bank, women’s shelter and visits to the Methodist Children's hospital.

GHOSTBUSTERS SATX is made up of a group of individuals who share a common enthusiasm for the 1984 classic “Ghostbusters”. With our fandom we hope to spread joy and stand up for local causes to build a better community through our love of this classic film. Our group is a social gathering and in no way represents or is endorsed by Columbia-TriStar/Sony Pictures; but instead upholds itself to strict social guidelines to build good will in our local community. We are a not-for-profit group whose main goal is to spread the love of this wonderful film franchise and support our community is a variety of social efforts.
