The first thing I noticed about this book was the cover; a brightly lit orange mushroom. This is a fascinating book about the nuclear bomb that was dropped in Hiroshima and another one in Nagasaki. It is not very lengthy but well written as it details the men responsible for creating the world’s most destructive weapon, the testing of the weapon and finally the aftermath as the Japanese population was decimated. Highly recommended.
