Named after the prominent African American scientist and inventor, George Washington Carver, the Carver Branch Library has proudly served San Antonio’s east side community for 90 years!
It is one of San Antonio Public Library’s oldest libraries and its rich history is an inspiration to us all. Even in a pandemic, Carver Branch Library has continued to serve the community by providing Contact-Free Pickup of library materials, access to computers, and free Wi-Fi. Join us in celebrating this momentous milestone!
