About This Veteran Resource LibGuide
This LibGuide acts as an information resource, as well as a phone directory for veterans who are looking for basic information for both local and national resources. Service members leaving military service often turn to veteran related centers for benefits and aid. The Veterans Affairs (VA) acts as a one-stop-shop for most veteran needs whether it be medical, education, legal, etc. The San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) does not list all of the state and national resources that are available for service members. However, SAPL strives to serve the veteran community by providing the most current information available and/or a point of reference to contact directly.
