You can get more time to file your tax return – but make your tax payment by the April due date.

Due to COVID-19, the Library will not be hosting the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Service (VITA) this tax season. We recommend the resources below to assist you.

Tax Forms

San Antonio Public Libraries

SAPL is offering Contact-Free pickup for the Tax Forms.

All SAPL branches and the Central Library are offering contact-free pickup except for the Kampmann Library Portal at the Briscoe Museum. The Potranco Holds Locker is not an option for use at this time.

First step: Place a form on hold by calling your local library branch.

Second step: Pick up the form. Visit your library location to pick-up your held form. Upon arrival, call your library and provide your name. Library staff will then bring the form outside and place it on a table next to the entrance.

Hours for Contact-Free Pickup at all locations (except for McCreless and San Pedro*) are:

Tuesday 12PM - 7PM and

Wednesday - Saturday 10AM - 5PM

Office Depot Stores have a limited supply of 1099s for purchase. Please call for pricing and availability before heading to your nearest store.
