What is MakeMake? 

MakeMake is a digital library platform that features a vast collection of Latin American materials in Spanish for children and teens. MakeMake originates from Colombia and provides a Spanish-language search interface with a focus on literature from Latin American authors.

Who can use MakeMake?

MakeMake is available for free with unlimited access to library cardholders. Users can access MakeMake from anywhere for free on their tablet, computer, or mobile phone.

If you are not at a SAPL location, you will need to log in using your SAPL card number and the password associated with your online SAPL account. MakeMake is accessible from a web browser or the MakeMake mobile app, available on iOS and Android.

How to log in to MakeMake

  • To get started, visit the MakeMake website.
  • Select San Antonio Public Library as your location
  • Enter your library card number and password*
  • Enjoy access to 800+ eBooks in Spanish for children and teens
