The Johnston Branch Library is celebrating 40 years of service to the southwest side community!
As a way to recognize this special milestone, we are hosting a two-week celebration beginning Monday, September 13 through Saturday, September 25 with online and in-person activities at Johnston Branch Library (6307 Sun Valley, 78227).
On September 18th young poets celebrated the love and joy of poetry with San Antonio Poet Laureate Andrea "Vocab" Sanderson. This notable local figure shared her talent, tools, and devices to enhance the writing experience of our participants. Click the button below to see completed event poetry.
