Queer CrafternoonQueer Crafternoon is offered at Central Library (3rd Saturday of the Month from 2-4 pm) and McCreless Branch Library (3rd Sunday of the month from 2-4 pm)
We are hosting a space for people to listen to stories as they explore their creativity. So come and play with pastels, knit with nonchalance, delight in doodling! In fact, as long as it gets your creativity flowing, whether it’s sewing or Sudoku, feel free to bring your craft and join in. While everyone is welcome, this program is designed to be a safe space for members of the queer community. Each week we’ll play a podcast or excerpts from books with queer-centered storylines or queer characters. You can listen and craft, strike up a conversation about that week’s current audio selection, or swap tips with a fellow crafter.
