Paul Scheer

Paul Scheer is a comedian, Screen Actors’ Guild Award-winning actor, filmmaker, podcaster and New York Times Best Selling author known for his roles in film and television, including Black Monday, 30 Rock, Veep, and The League. He also co-created and starred in Human Giant and NTSF:SD:SUV. He co-hosts the podcast How Did This Get Made? alongside his wife, actor June Diane Raphael, and actor Jason Mantzoukas, as well as the podcast Unspooled with film critic Amy Nicholson. His memoir Joyful Recollections of Trauma was released to critical acclaim in 2024 by Harper Collins. You can check out his many endeavors on his website

Amy Kim Kibuishi 

Amy has been drawing and writing in earnest since she was ten years old. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a degree in cartooning and is the creator of Sorcerers & Secretaries, a graphic novel duology. The first volume was a YALSA Great Graphic Novels for Teens selection. She was also a contributor to the acclaimed Flight anthology series edited by Kazu Kibuishi and adapted a story for Goosebumps: Terror Trips by R. L. Stine. Amy lives near San Antonio with her husband, Kazu, and their two children.

Kazu Kibuishi 

Kazu is the author and artist of the popular Amulet graphic novel series. He is also the creator of the Flight Anthologies, the Explorer Anthologies, and Daisy Kutter: The Last Train, a winner of the YALSA Best Books for Young Adults Award. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Kazu moved to the U.S. with his mother and brother when he was a child. He graduated from Film Studies at the University of California Santa Barbara, and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. He currently works as a full-time comic book artist. Kazu lives in San Antonio with his wife, author Amy Kim Kibuishi, and their children, Juni and Sophie.

Author EHIGBOR OKOSUNEhigbor Okosun

Ehigbor Okosun (Eh-hee-bor Oh-koh-soon), or just Ehi, is the #1 Sunday Times Bestselling author of Forged By Blood, the first in a Nigerian mythology epic fantasy duology. Raised across four continents, she now resides in the Southern United States, where she writes speculative fiction, mystery thrillers, and contemporary novels for adult and YA audiences. She writes in hopes of doing justice to the myths and traditions she grew up steeped in, and to honor her large, multiracial and multiethnic family. She is a graduate of the University of Texas with degrees in Plan II Honors, Neurolinguistics, and English, as well as Chemistry and Pre-Medical studies and is a Cynthia Leitich Smith Mentorship Award finalist. When she’s not reading, you can catch her bullet journalling, gaming, baking, singing, doing yoga and spending time with her loved ones. John Picacio

John is one of the most acclaimed American artists in science fiction and fantasy over the last decade, creating best-selling art for George R. R. Martin’s A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE series, the STAR TREK and X-MEN franchises. as well as over 150 book covers. His body of work features major book illustrations for authors such as Leigh Bardugo, Rebecca Roanhorse, Michael Moorcock, Harlan Ellison, James Dashner, Brenda Cooper, Frederik Pohl, Mark Chadbourn, Sheri S. Tepper, James Tiptree, Jr., Lauren Beukes, Jeffrey Ford, Joe R. Lansdale, and many more. His accolades include three Hugo Awards, eight Chesley Awards, three Locus Awards, two International Horror Guild Awards, the World Fantasy Award, and the Inkpot Award. He is the founder of the creative publishing imprint, Lone Boy, which has become the launchpad for his Loteria Grande cards, a bold contemporary re-imagineering of the classic Mexican game of chance. In 2018, John became only the third person in the history of the World Science Fiction Convention to serve as Guest of Honor and Hugo Awards Master of Ceremonies at the same Worldcon, and the first Latinx to ever be a Worldcon Guest of Honor. Artist Jackdaw

Jackdaw Russell

Jackdaw is a printmaker from Fort Worth, TX. who has been doing Linoleum-Cut Prints since 2006. Jackdaw says he love the simplicity and old-fashioned sensibility of linoleum-cut block prints. His work generally features Texas-centric and pop-culture subject matter such as Whataburger, history and music icons. Jackdaw plays bass in a band called Crooked Bones and travels widely around the state, showing his art and trying to eat all of the tacos. You can see his work on Etsy at Jackdaw Folk Art.

Award winning comic book colorist Wes Hartman

Wes Hartman 

Wes is an award winning comic book colorist (2010 BD Price Audience Award for best color), and a small press comic book creator and editor.  He has spent the last 15+ years working with the biggest and best talent at Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Aspen, Dynamite, etc. and has had his work featured in TV, film, and video games as well.  He can mostly be found chained to his desk being viciously whipped by the evil taskmaster called "Deadlines."
