Who are they:

Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international organization of Catholic lay persons drawn from every ethnic and cultural background, age group, and economic level who seek in the spirit of justice and charity, by person-to-person involvement of its members, to help those who are most in need. 

Services they offer:

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul operates a Community Assistance Program in order to assist brothers and sisters who find themselves in financial difficulty. Limited financial assistance is provided for expenses such as utility bills, rent/mortgage, funeral arrangements, and medication. This program is limited to very low-income individuals as outlined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
