The Texas Bluebonnet award encourages reading for pleasure by allowing children in grades 3-6 across the state of Texas to vote on their favorite titles from a Master List. The award is presented to the winning author at the Texas Bluebonnet Award presentation in the Spring. In January 2024, Texas students in grades three through six will cast their votes for the 2024 Texas Bluebonnet Award Winner. In order to vote, a student must read at least five books from the current list of nominees. Now is a great time to get started on your Bluebonnet reading!
