Children's Award Books

Within the last 100 years or so, various organizations have chosen to honor outstanding books written for young people. Each award highlights the finest book within a particular category or which reflects a particular theme. Most are awarded annually.

Premio Campoy-Ada Award

The Premio Campoy-Ada Award is presented by the North American Academy of the Spanish language (ANLE) to recognize children and youth literature based on their originality, literary achievement, and use of the Spanish language.  The Premio Campoy-Ada is awarded every two years for children’s or young adult’s Spanish literature that is published within the U.S. and Puerto Rico in the last three years leading up to the nomination. For a complete list of Winners and Honor Books please visit the Premio Campoy-Ada de la Academia Website.
