Teen Services Web

A professional development guide for Teen Librarians, Teen Liaisons, and anyone else fortunate enough to work with Teens in the Library.

Outreach

Outreach opportunities allow us to bring Teen Services out into the city. Each Teen Services Librarian and Liaison is responsible for delivering—or demonstrating—that contact for off-site outreach was initiated at least once a month.

Establishing a good relationship with your local high school is a great starting point to identifying outreach opportunities within your community. Teen Services will also periodically put out calls for assistance at large-scale outreach opportunities, such as the Manga Reading Room at San Japan.
