In his own words - Fr. Garcia, David

Father David Garcia wears many collars. He has been dubbed a "Renaissance’ Pastor", "the World’s Best Fundraiser" and “...a priest I’d order from a catalog.“

After earning honors as his high school valedictorian (1967), graduating magna cum laude in History from St. Mary’s University (1971), obtaining a Master’s degree in Theology and another Master’s in Institutional Administration (1974) from Notre Dame, Father David was armed to take on the administrative duties that he has readily and steadily done so well.  His service took him around the world, eventually bringing him full circle back to San Antonio where he played an integral role in lifting the San Antonio Missions National Historic Parks onto the World Heritage Site stage.
