In his own words - Fr. Garcia, David

Father David Garcia wears many collars. He has been dubbed a "Renaissance’ Pastor", "the World’s Best Fundraiser" and “...a priest I’d order from a catalog.“  He played an integral part in lifting the San Antonio Missions National Historic Parks onto the World Heritage Site stage.  One fact that intrigued the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the body who determines what sites are selected "World Heritage," was that within our National Historic Park there are four functioning Catholic parishes, all of which are overseen by Father David. Talents aside, his earliest and foremost passion remains, "the power of getting involved with the community, [and] putting pressure on politicians and city officials to pay attention to the poor."
